MICHELLA

SALON COORDINATOR EST. 2016 AT TS

Michella was born and raised in Edmonton and is mother to two amazing and adorable boys. After years of working in customer service and administration, she decided she was ready to make a change. Having always been inspired by the creativity and innovation in the hair and beauty industry, she found herself a new family and home at Tommie Salon as our Salon Manager.

Outside of beauty and fashion she also has a deep passion for Yoga and Meditation, and has completed Yoga Teacher Training to be a certified instructor. She gets a sense of true joy and balance from Yoga, which carries over into over into her everyday life.

CAITLYN

LEAD STYLIST/EDUCATOR EST. 2014 AT TS

Caitlyn has grown through the ranks at Tommie Salon and has flourished into a talented stylist.

Her Journey in the industry started in High School where she completed her Cosmetology program, after joining our team in 2014 she realized that she had found her passion. Since then she has had many achievements, such as becoming a Session Stylist with Kevin Murphy & winning the Frank Cairo Award at MC College. Caitlyn's talents extend beyond hair to include a natural ability to see beauty in everything and everybody, allowing her to transform your look into a masterpiece using Jane Iredale mineral makeup.

KAREENA

MARKETING COORDINATOR/STYLIST EST. 2020 AT TS

Kareena first realized her passion for hair in grade 12 when she began to take clients and later went on to compete and receive a scholarship to MC College Edmonton. She graduated from MC College’s hairstyling program in April 2020 and shortly after began her hairstyling career at Tommie Salon. In her time at Tommie Salon she has grown into an amazing stylist with a growing clientele as the Balmain Hair Couture Ambassador.

In her spare time, Kareena is studying at NAIT to obtain her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Degree. She loves spending time with her nephews and nieces and she also loves to read. If you ever need a good book recommendation she’s the person to ask!

Kareena loves to learn new techniques and has advanced her skills in all things hair! She has taken classes in many areas, curly hair, advanced layers cutting etc. both locally and internationally. Her favourite part about this industry is how every client is unique and she’s determined to create a genuine and authentic experience for each and every one of you!

TERESA

MASTER STYLIST eST. 2017 AT TS

Teresa is an incredibly creative woman with over 35 years of experience in the industry! Not only is she a leader in our industry, she has also mastered the art of Italian cooking with nonna and zia.  Her true artistic nature has assisted in developing beautiful Japanese art, as well as designing garden architecture.

Teresa has enjoyed an amazing career,  which includes owning her own salon. She has a huge passion for hair, fashion and people. She prides herself on continually educating herself to keep ahead of trends and remain progressive. With several trips to Europe for training and long education stays in New York, there are so many certifications in Teresa's portfolio, we would run out of web space to list them all!

Angela is originally from a small town, Merritt, in the interior of BC. She made a move to the big city of Vancouver where she worked for over 10 years mastering her craft. She gives phenomenal blowouts and excels at precision haircuts. If you’re having a crazy day, just a few minutes with Angela, and her presence will immediately calm you, that's what she does for us.

In addition to being an artist with hair, Angela loves experimenting with acrylic paints. She predominantly loses herself in abstract art. Someone with such strong skills in grounding everyone else, finds this is the best way to ground herself.

BRANDY

STYLIST/MAKEUP ARTIST EST. 2020 AT TS

Brandy has many skill sets under her belt and started in the beauty industry as a painter, cosplay / prop builder, and jewelry-maker. After years of having a passion for movies, Brandy decided to take her shot in the film industry. She trained under a professional special fx artist who worked in many films including the "Ginger Snaps" franchise. After being certified as professional makeup and special fx artist she decided to train in the hair industry as well to sharpen her skill set. Brandy was accepted into Estelle academy and the rest is history.

She is wildly creative and has a passion for the beauty industry, she specializes in fashion colours, hair tattoos, fine hair & much more. In her spare time she expresses herself through art and loves creating character designs and graffiti art. In her spare time Brandy has a passion for hockey, WWE, mountain climbing, camping and skydiving. She also loves cuddling up with a good book or scary movie.

MEGAN

STYLIST EST. 2021 AT TS

Megan graduated top of her class at Eveline Charles Academy in 2021. She joined the Tommie Salon team in her final stages of hair school. Since then, she has built her knowledge and her experince, having trained in Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Austin, Texas. Her clientele is rapidly growing with her skills in blended colours & trendy cuts. She recently attended a curly hair Cado cutting class in Winnipeg!

Megan loves reading and spending time outdoors with her Border-Aussie, Milo, taking in new adventures & experiences. Megan is a also a bit of a foodie, enjoying the cuisine of different local spots. If you’re ever in need of a good restaurant recommendation, she’s your girl!

DANI

NEW TALENT STYLIST EST. 2022 AT TS

Dani has always had a passion for hair, especially hair colouring! She graduated from Eveline Charles Academy in 2022 and started here shortly after. Dani is always looking for new opportunities to further her education and has since become certified in hair extensions.

Outside of work she enjoys being active and spending time with her family while raising her son. Dani also loves cooking and baking so be sure to ask her for a recipe!

LINDSAY

NEW TALENT STYLIST EST. 2023 AT TS

Lindsay joins our team with a lifetime of passion for learning. As a mom of six in her big blended family, Lindsay has played amateur stylist for over a decade. Lindsay originally was a paramedic for many years but always felt like she wanted to do something else. With the support of her husband and kids, she finally followed her dreams and entered hair school so the rest is history.

Lindsay graduated Hair Inc Academy in 2023 and is also certified in Makeup Artistry and Babe Hair Extensions.

In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys staying active snowboarding, long boarding, surfing and rock climbing with her family and Sheepadoodle! She is also an advisor to the board of the Stollery Charitable Foundation.
